Here is another great product from Mía Mariú ♥ I’ve been using their Skin Nourishing Oil for a few weeks now + my skin has been reaping the benefits.

Here’s what the brand has to say:

Invigorate your senses and rejuvenate your body with nutrient replenishing oils like Sweet Almond, Avocado, Wheat Germ, Safflower Seed and Soybean and invigorating Lemon, Orange and Grapefruit essential oils for firm, smooth, luminous skin. With rich botanical extracts like Chamomile, Cucumber & Lavender which provide anti-inflammatory, moisturizing and healing support. Provides deep penetrating soothing moisture rejuvenating skin without blocking pores. Helps reverse and prevent signs of aging by promoting collagen production which helps keep the skin young and supple looking. Alcohol free, Sulfate free, Paraben free Uses: face, body and hair – Suitable for all skin types and ages.

And my thoughts…

Well at first the faint light scent disappointed me until I applied it to my skin after a shower. The scent flows with rather than overpowers my natural scent leaving behind a warm + sweet lime fragrance. I did use this oil from the neck down for each use + I probably have used less than a 1/4 of what’s in the bottle. My only recommendation is that you use caution + stand on a bath mat or carpeted area if you plan on using it on the bottom of your feet. You could easily slip + fall if you aren’t careful. Another huge plus is there is no greasy feeling after application + the oil doesn’t sit on top of my skin. After a few minutes it sinks into my skin + leaves a subtle glow that I really love. My skin is really soft + stays moisturized well throughout the day. I’d say the best time to apply it is right after a shower, especially if you’ve shaved your legs or exfoliated. The only thing I would have changed about the product is the packaging it comes in. I’d rather use a dropper for oils more than anything else. It gives you total control over the amount of product you use plus it won’t make a mess. Oil doesn’t leak from this bottle but I’d still prefer the dropper.

Product details…

This bottle is 4 fl oz + $25 dollars on the Mía Mariú site. Sounds like a lot for such a seemingly small bottle but a little does go a long way + you’re paying for what you get which is a blend of oils + extracts that promote healthy skin without toxic additives. The ingredients list contains over 10 extracts + natural oils that are excellent for maintaining + promoting healthy skin. It is also safe to use on children.

So you know here on t.b.d. I like to share the what, why + how to when it comes to using certain types of products. I don’t like for anyone to be duped into spending lots of $$$ for something that really isn’t worth it or worse is actually more harmful than anything else to your health. So just a quick refresher: You want to avoid things like mineral oil {can severely clog your pores} + fragrance. The term “fragrance”, found on tons of cosmetic labels + usually listed toward the bottom of the ingredients list, can have well over 40 actual ingredients {artificial + natural} to make up the total product labeled as fragrance. Very crazy but very true. Also when in doubt Google an ingredient. It may mean your favorite moisturizer is really no good for you but you can also find some great alternatives.

And now for the giveaway…

{thanks for reading}

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
