I am a huge fan of skin care oils. Years ago I was that terrified person {with über oily skin} who wouldn’t touch oil let alone voluntarily buy it! Now that I know better + how to use it I’m always mixing something or another in my kitchen to suit my needs. More recently I was introduced to an organic oil that I didn’t have to concoct at all but it was rather perfect as is. I’ve been using Yümi Beautiful Organic Rose Hip Seed Oil {cold-pressed} for a few weeks now, only at night, the difference in my skin holding on to old acne scarring + being prone to dryness since we still need the A/C on in this non Fall weather are non existent.
The oil is 100% pure organic rose hip seed oil which means there are no surprise ingredients to trip up my skin later down the road. It is paraben-free, alcohol-free, dye free + fragrance free. There is nothing added.
The packaging + serving size has perks since it does come in a dark glass bottle with a glass dropper + at a generous 1 fl oz. A little goes a long way. I also massage this into my cuticles after I use it on my face + neck in the evening. Now to be clear I don’t recommend using rose hip seed oil on acne or on over oily skin since it can irritate both and cause breakouts. Also this oils should be stored in a cool place away from light. I keep mine under my bathroom sink just to be on the safe side. But if you’re looking to moisturize dry skin + get a more even skin tone I highly recommend you check out Yümi Beautiful.
